Needle breakage may occur due to:

  • using the wrong needle size or type,

  • poor hooping or fabric tension,

  • dense design on a light fabric without support.
    Use a size 75/11 embroidery needle for clean stitching on light to medium fabrics.

What stabilizer should I use and how to calculate fabric weight?

For linen napkins (~190 g/m²), use a medium-weight tear-away stabilizer (~50 g/m²). This ensures proper support, bringing the total working weight to around 240 g/m²—ideal for smooth results.
